“We brought Steve and his team on a several years back during a critical period of Beta Zeta’s history. We were amidst a challenging time for our chapter both with the condition of our property and our financial health; all of this while we were in the very early stages of a 20-year renovation and capital fundraising campaign. Steve and his team came in and matched us up with the right folks to begin the feasibility study and helped facilitate communication between the board, the chapter and our alumni. To name just a few of the critical items that CSL has done for us: They were instrumental in helping us implement a real-time invoicing process for our tenants so that they could see what damages/fees they were being charged for. This greatly increased the efficiency and collection rate, and created a transparency and accountability for our tenants in a way they had never had. CSL has helped us refine and retool our housing agreement and chapter policy. Our documents are now up-to-date and legal so that we are mitigating as much risk both for the housing corporation and its residents.
