Woody joined CSL Management as Chief Operating Officer and Partner in 2010. He has more than 20 years of experience in operations consulting, risk management, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining CSL, Woody enjoyed tenures as head of business development for Marsh, Berry, and Company, a leading consulting and M&A firm; vice president in charge of specialty lending for an investment banking firm; and a past broker for Willis Group Holdings, the third largest insurance broker in the world. He also has extensive knowledge of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and asset-based, cash flow lending. As Chief Operating Officer for CSL Management, Woody is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and is a consultant for the firm in the areas of project management, finance, strategic issues, and operational excellence.
Woody earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, emphasis in finance and insurance, from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). He also holds a Masters in Business Administration from The Jack C. Massey School of Business at Belmont University, where he was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Student Award within his graduating class. After graduation, he continued his professional training in both the Harvard School of Law negotiation and Rule 31 Mediation techniques, in addition to developing his expertise as a public speaker. Woody is currently a general fraternity officer for his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, assisting with chapter operations in Tennessee.
Woody and his wife Becky have two children – a son and a daughter.
